Nice family run Gyro Restaurant. Tasty food, Quick and clean service. Do check out Chapali Kebab in sandwich or as a side. Really good filling platter with lot of flavor. Food is awesome and service is awesome aswell. Ideal place for a quick lunch It has many other Restaurants nearby, this place outshines everyone in the neighborhood. The food has good flavor and service is quick. This place has become my favorite work lunch place. I would suggest owners to relook at ambience and decor. Also add fountain drinks if possible.

Hands down one of the best hidden gems in McKinney! The Gyro Shop never disappoints. I ordered the chicken and lamb combo and it was incredible—flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The meat was seasoned just right, the rice was fresh, and the white and red sauces took it to a whole new level. It’s a solid portion too, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. The food came out fast, and the staff was cool and welcoming. If you’re craving something that hits every time, this is the spot. 5 stars all day!

It was my first time, I think he was able to tell. I asked for 2 gyro plates. He was very nice to give me sauce in separate cups (and extra white sauce!). When I got home it was a large amount of food which was delicious. The sauce in cups was a smart move because now I can put leftovers in the fridge and microwave next day and avoid microwaving sauce! Smart guy, delicious food, I am coming back for more!!! Thank you

Absolutely amazing and delicious food! My hubby and I are hooked. He loves the combo platter, and I love the combo salad. We love the great flavor and quality and how customizable the meals are. All the veggies are super fresh and cut into perfect bite-sized pieces, and meats are perfectly cooked. The flavor is amazing! We usually skip a few ingredients, and their service is top-notch to make sure your requests are met. We knew from the first bite that we would be here all the time. After 3 times, it's only confirmed that this is the best Greek fast food around. The ambiance is super casual, so there is no need to dress up. The bonus is that it's close by, so that means we'll be there all the time. We just returned from our vacation, and the first restaurant in McKinney we went to is the Gyro Shop. It's that good. Trust me, you want the red and white sauces together! Match made in culinary heaven & worth every penny! Oh, and if you want even more of a kick, ask for extra strip of the red sauce.

I’m from the east coast (DC) and this place has better and bigger gyro plates than what I get back home. Serving portions are huge and cooked to order. Everything is always fresh! Edris is a super nice guy! Highly recommend!!

Whenever I crave NY halal food, I get a combo platter from Gyro Shop. The food is always good. The veggies are fresh and the meat is tasty. Way better than Halal guys and they never skimp on portions.

The Gyro Shop in McKinney is awesome!!! My wife and I have eaten here numerous times over the past 4 months. The Gyro sandwich and the Gyro Platters are great and with generous portions of meat and veggies. The last 2 times the girl with the curly hair was friendly, courteous and amazing!! I highly recommend this place!!

Saw this place on Groupon, and gave it a try. I had the Lamb Gyro and my wife had the Chicken one. They were delicious. They are so big and filling we will probably split one next time. WARNING: Their Hot sauce is SPICY Also had the Hummus and Baklava... yummy. We will be back, friendly service too. No Alcohol... just soda and juice.
